Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians are clear favorites followed by Delhi Capitals. Last season’s finalists are the two topmost contenders and got the upper hand in the second phase of IPL 2021. Mumbai Indians have always been the favorites to win IPL titles. The dominance of Mumbai Indians in the last two years with both bat and ball is the reason for their success. They have one of the best opener in the world ‘Rohit Sharma’, two best finishers Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard. They have the best two fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult. In the middle order, they have young guns like Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan. This team looks perfect and can beat any side of the world.

Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals have a good bowling unit. Their bowling was the reason they were qualified for the finals last season. With the addition of Steve Smith and Prithvi Shaw’s outstanding form followed by Shikhar Dhawan. Shreyas Iyer’s return to the squad made Delhi’s batting more promising and stable. With Rishabh Pant in the middle order along with Marcus Stoinis makes power hitting easy for Delhi Capitals. They have two best fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje along with the best spinner in the world Ravichandran Ashwin. These reasons are enough for them to win their first IPL title.
